Chocolate Chip Cookies

Experience sweet nostalgia with these classic chocolate chip cookies, where buttery perfection meets gooey, melty chocolate in every bite.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup cannabutter, softened

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 2 cups chocolate chips (dark or semi-sweet)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper to prevent sticking.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened cannabutter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next. Add the vanilla extract and mix until well combined.

  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, before gently folding in the chocolate chips throughout the cookie dough.

  6. Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to drop rounded balls of dough onto the baking sheets, leaving space between each for the cookies to spread.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Keep an eye on them to ensure they don't overbake.

  8. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

  9. Once cooled, store in a cookie jar or serve and and enjoy!
