Banana Bread

Savor the aromatic delight of homemade banana bread, turning overripe bananas into a moist and flavorful classic treat.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 ripe bananas

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) cannabutter

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • A pinch of salt

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 large egg, beaten

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 4x8 inch loaf pan.

  2. Peel the ripe bananas and place them in a mixing bowl. Mash them with a fork or potato masher until smooth. Add the melted cannabutter to the mashed bananas and stir well.

  3. Incorporate the vanilla extract, beaten egg, and mix until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and a pinch of salt.

  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Be cautious not to overmix, as it results in dense banana bread.

  6. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan, spreading it evenly baking in the oven for approximately 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  7. Allow the banana bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

  8. Once cooled, slice the banana bread into thick, delicious slices. Serve with a spread of regular butter or enjoy it as is.
